At iKids Primary School, we believe that education is not just about academics—it's about building confidence, encouraging teamwork, and helping every child discover their unique strengths. Our Inter–House System is designed to do exactly that!
Our Four Vibrant Houses
Every student and teacher is part of one of our four joyful and energetic houses:
- Ruby House (Red) – Representing courage and energy
- Emerald House (Green) – Representing harmony and growth
- Sapphire House (Blue) – Representing intelligence and calmness
- Topaz House (Yellow) – Representing joy and confidence
Purpose of the Inter–House System
The Inter–House system at iKids is more than just competition—it’s a way to teach responsibility, unity, leadership, and friendship. It helps students take pride in their house and work together towards shared goals, all while having fun.
Exciting Competitions Throughout the Year
We organize a wide range of Inter–House events to give our students opportunities to express themselves and try new things. Some of our popular events include:
- Sports Events: Running races, relays, team games, obstacle courses
- Cultural Events: Singing, dancing, art competitions, storytelling, drama
- Academic Challenges: Spelling bees, quizzes, math games, and science fun
- Special Day Activities: Eco-awareness programs, celebration days, cleanliness drives
Each house earns points for participation, creativity, teamwork, and winning events. At the end of the year, the house with the most points is awarded the prestigious House of the Year Trophy during our Annual Day celebration.
Student Leadership and Teamwork
Each house is led by a House Captain and Vice-Captain—students who are selected for their leadership skills and positive attitude. They work together with their House Teachers to encourage their teams, organize practices, and lead with pride.
Celebrating Unity and Participation
The Inter–House system is not just about winning—it's about participating, encouraging others, learning life skills, and enjoying the journey. Every child gets a chance to shine and be cheered for their efforts.
